visit to the jolly bike shop

Long weekend away in Devon

We were invited down to The Jolly Bike Shop in Bovey Tracey . Where we were made very welcome by Chris Simms at his place , part meeting place , part museum and part shop for his crazy life size models .

The locals joined us on a   fantastic ride out across Dartmoor to Tavistock then back for  a BBQ  at the jolly shop .

Such a great weekend , once again we managed to time it in the middle of a heatwave , but were well rewarded with fantastically friendly people , making new friends and adding another place to our annual calendar
