TOURING THE PEAK DISTRICT

What a fantastic long weekend , on the hottest may bank holiday weekend on record , 14 bikes rode down to the peak district national park in Derbyshire, our long hot ride was well rewarded with stunning countryside ,sweeping valleys and beautiful views. We met up with friends from the IMRG OAKMERE and took on Snake pass and Winnats pass never to be forgotten , also visited Buxton and other local towns , brilliant riding , but more importantly time spent with friends , its when we all go away together that we really bond , riding all day and eating and drinking together is what life should be all about , we managed to book the whole hotel for ourselves , and although the owner did have a touch of the Basil Fawlty,s this only made it more memorable
